Aladaglar and Cappadocia: MTB Adventure

The Aladaglar and Cappadocia mountains conceal countless small villages, hidden valleys surrounded by towering peaks and nearly 4,000-meter-high volcanoes. This region is among the best in the world for a mountain biking adventure, offering a chance to slowly appreciate and explore the authenticity of these UNESCO World Heritage sites. Dirt roads traverse dramatically diverse landscapes, climbing towards 3,250-meter-high passes before descending onto vast plateaus. The effort of pedaling is rewarded by breathtaking views of rivers, canyons, and waterfalls, all experienced from the saddle of your bike. The journey culminates in Cappadocia, where riders weave through its iconic geological formations and ascend the mountains of Nevşehir. Here, some of Turkey’s most stunning single tracks await—perhaps even beneath a sky filled with dozens of hot air balloons.
