Thanks to our experience as International Mountain Guides, we founded Snowder; a Tour Operator-Travel Agency specialising in sports and exploration trips. Our goal is the happiness and safety of the people for whom we organise ski touring, trekking and mountain biking trips around the world. The careful organisation of all the smallest details of the trip - airline flights, luggage forwarding, car and driver hire, accommodation locations and logistical organisation, trip planning - goes hand in hand with the accompaniment exclusively entrusted to Professional Guides with proven experience!

Mountain Guide since '98, always passionate about travel, skiing and climbing, horses and wide open spaces, sports and nature. After years of traveling the world, he came up with the idea of Snowder® which, beyond being a brand, is a "way" of traveling, where practicing a sport like ski touring becomes an excellent "excuse" to hit the road, a reason to discover distant lands – even better if off the beaten path – new people, unknown snow and landscapes.

Paolo Pernigotti
UIAGM Guide
He lives in Vernante but spends most of his time skiing and climbing. After gaining experience in heliskiing, Paolo divides his winter between chasing powder across the Alps and leading ski mountaineering and freeride trips worldwide. In spring, he focuses mainly on ski mountaineering on the 4,000-meter peaks, while in summer he takes on the high mountains (Mont Blanc, Monte Rosa, Gran Paradiso, etc.), climbing, and canyoning. Autumn is dedicated to discovering new spots for skiing and climbing to always offer new adventures. Since 2015, he has been collaborating with Salomon as an Ambassador.

Michela Formento
Tour Operator
Always passionate about travel and the mountains, she made sure that these passions became her job. Graduated in cultural heritage sciences, she worked on sustainable tourism in the protected areas of the Maritime Alps Park and managed the historic Alpine colony of Sant'Anna di Valdieri by launching a redevelopment project in collaboration with other valley operators. For Snowder she mainly deals with incoming and, together with her husband Erik Rolando, with the creation of cycling trips. When she can she goes to discover new places, doing it mainly by bikepacking between Patagonia, Australia, Indonesia, and South Africa.
