A journey dedicated to lovers of free-heel skiing in one of Norway’s most spectacular destinations. Senja Island is located about 300 km north of the Arctic Circle, on Norway’s northwestern coast. It is the country’s second-largest island and is often called the "magical island" or "Norway in miniature" due to its incredible variety of landscapes. Here, you’ll find deep fjords, alpine peaks, rolling terrain dotted with lakes, and towering summits. The highest peaks reach 1,000 meters, making them excellent day-trip objectives, with many descents leading directly to the sea—offering breathtaking scenery. For stronger and more experienced skiers, there are numerous options for linked routes, traverses, and steep descents, making each day even more thrilling. The island also has a well-developed road network, allowing access to even the most remote locations within about an hour from our base.
