A ski touring journey in the heart of the Balkans, among the wild mountains of Kosovo and Albania. Far from the beaten track, we will explore the pristine snows of the Prevalla Valley (in the Sharr Mountains) based in the charming and historic city of Prizren, then move toward the giant of the region: Mount Korab (2,764 m), the highest peak in Albania and North Macedonia.
Here you will find wide rolling terrain, untouched forests and steep alpine-style slopes. It's an experience that combines great exploratory ski touring with the warmth of Balkan hospitality, among traditional villages and ancient mosques.

He lives in the Vermenagna Valley but spends most of his time skiing and climbing. After gaining experience in heliskiing, Paolo divides his winter between chasing powder across the Alps and leading ski mountaineering and freeride trips worldwide. In spring, he focuses mainly on ski mountaineering on the 4,000-meter peaks, while in summer he takes on the high mountains (Mont Blanc, Monte Rosa, Gran Paradiso, etc.), climbing, and canyoning. In autumn, he sets off to discover new spots for skiing and climbing to always offer new adventures. Since 2015, he has been collaborating with Salomon as an Ambassador.

Day 1: Meeting at Tirana airport (Albania). Transfer by car to Prizren (about 2.5 hours). Check-in at hotel, dinner at one of the many typical restaurants in town.
Day 2: Wake up, breakfast, transfer to Prevalla Valley. First warm-up tour in the Sharr Mountains. Mount Konjuskha (2,571 m) is a beautiful tour starting from the characteristic Prevalla pass. Return to Prizren, relax and dinner in the picturesque town.
Day 3: Breakfast and second ascent in the Sharr Mountains. Near the Brezovica ski resort, there is a beautiful route leading to the summit of Mount Crn Kamen (2,536 m) characterized by wide skiable slopes. Return to Prizren, relax and dinner.
Day 4: Breakfast and third ascent in the Sharr Mountains. Ascent to Mount Skarpa (2,474 m). A wide ridge leads to the summit and then descent on the beautiful slopes of the valleys branching from the peak. characterized by wide skiable slopes. After the tour, the local farmhouse is the most obvious choice for a hearty snack/dinner.
Day 5: Breakfast and fourth ascent in the Sharr Mountains. Ascent to Mount Brdalevo (2,334 m). Wild environment and wide slopes for an amazing ski descent. After the tour, scenic transfer crossing the border into Albania toward Radomirë (2 hours by car), a small village at the base of Mount Korab.
Day 6: Early morning wake-up. It's the day of Mount Korab (2,764 m), Albania's highest peak. A long, technical and highly rewarding tour in a majestic environment. Return to hotel in Radomirë, relax and dinner.
Day 7: breakfast and ascent to one of the peaks of the Korab Range or the Mali i Gramës Massif. In the afternoon, start of the transfer toward the capital. Check-in at the hotel and dinner.
Day 8: Return flight to Turin.
