Chamonix-Zermatt: Summer Glacier Trek

Chamonix and Zermatt… the two capitals of mountaineering, two small ancient mountain villages that have been protagonists and starting points of alpine exploration: the first owes its fame to the conquest of Mont Blanc and the second to the first ascent of the Matterhorn.
A unique route, well known in its ski touring version, which we offer here in its summer version: an opportunity to learn how to move safely in the demanding high mountain environment and to see up close the transformations that glaciers have undergone in recent decades.

NB The route alternates between trails and high-altitude glaciers; you move equipped with ice axe and crampons, but no climbing sections are involved
