Three days dedicated to the mountains, sport, and fun.
Following the success of the first edition, Snowder Fest returns: the Snowder-branded weekend that brings together outdoor enthusiasts, friends, and families in Valle Grana, in one of the most fascinating locations in the Cuneo Alps and at one of the most dynamic and accessible refuges in our valleys.
The 2026 edition will be dedicated to Castelmagno, the cheese that symbolizes this land. The common thread will be a great lighthearted relay, where mountain biking, climbing, and trail running come together in an original, fun challenge open to all athletes with a bit of competitive spirit.
The day will be accompanied by good food, live music, and a great desire to be together.

Travel program
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26
9:00 AM
Meeting point at the Fauniera Refuge.
10:30 AM
Start of the Snowder Fest Relay.
Each team will consist of three participants, each taking on a different discipline.
The three events
🚵 Mountain Fen. Departure from the Sanctuary of Castelmagno. A route of about 5 kilometers by mountain bike with a bale of hay on your shoulders.
🧗 Cioca Climbing. Single-pitch climbing trial on top-rope. Each competitor will climb with a cowbell (“cioca”) attached to their harness. In case of a fall, you start over from the beginning. Difficulty level: Grade V.
🥛 Milk Trail. Trail running with a pitcher containing a liter of milk. The goal is to reach the finish line in the shortest time possible, while saving as much milk as possible.
At the end of the events, the following will take place
- Awards Ceremony
- Buffet with typical products
- Live music with the band Coitoni 2.0
- Party until evening

During the afternoon, you can join the buffet organized at the Fauniera Refuge.
The menu will include some of the symbolic products of the region:
- Castelmagno cheese
- Hand-chopped steak tartare
- Arrosticini (lamb skewers)
- Grilled sausage
- Polenta
- Other local specialties

Snowder Fest isn't just about Saturday. Those who wish can experience the entire weekend by participating in activities organized by Snowder mountain guides.
Friday 25 or Sunday 27 > Rifugio Fauniera area, half day of multipitch climbing, 1 person €160, 2 people €90 each
Rocca La Meja, multipitch climbing (route and difficulty level chosen by the clients), minimum group 2 people, €180 each
Mount Oronaye, Via ferrata degli Alpini, minimum group 2 people, €170 each
Rocca Provenzale, Normal Route, minimum group 2 people, €160 each
Rocca Castello, multipitch routes, minimum group 2 people, €180 each
Camoglieres via ferrata, minimum group 3 people, €110 each
MTB/E-MTB single track riding course (with your own bike) > minimum group 3 people, 80 euros each
Gardetta Plateau, E-MTB (with your own bike) > approx. 35 kilometers, 1400 m D+, diff S1/S2 or BC+ CAI scale, minimum group 3 people, €80 each
Friday 25 > Brec de Chambeyron, minimum group 2 pax, 300 euros per person (possibility of climbing to the Barenghi Bivouac the previous afternoon)
Sunday 27 > Ascent to Rocca La Meja starting from the Fauniera Refuge, minimum group 3 people, €100 each
