A unique itinerary in Europe, the Fishermen’s Trail winds for nearly 200 km along a rugged and wild coastline. Named in honor of the fishermen who have traveled it since ancient times, it offers an accessible trekking experience in a truly unique natural setting. The landscape consists of gently rolling terrain, covered in low vegetation and marine wildlife, abruptly interrupted by steep cliffs and rocky escarpments plunging into the Atlantic Ocean, where spectacular waves crash against the shore. Whale sightings are not uncommon! This is a reflective journey, encouraging a slow-paced exploration of rocky coves, hidden beaches, and deep gorges where the sea roars below. Although the Fishermen’s Trail is considered easy, it requires good walking endurance, as much of the route follows sandy paths.
