Our treks will take us through Connemara, a natural paradise of windswept peat bogs, majestic mountains, and wave-battered coasts. Here, you can breathe in the fresh Atlantic air while immersing yourself in the timeless beauty of this enchanting region.
But the journey doesn't end there. We will cross the shimmering waters to the legendary Aran Islands, where time seems to have stood still. We will explore ancient ruins, stroll along scenic trails, and lose ourselves in the narrow streets of villages steeped in history.

Day 1: arrival in Dublin, the vibrant capital of Ireland, where history blends with the present in a fascinating mix of culture and entertainment.
We will explore iconic landmarks such as Dublin Castle and St. Patrick's Cathedral before wandering through the welcoming streets of the historic center. Here, we will have the opportunity to taste local cuisine in traditional Irish pubs and enjoy the lively atmosphere that fills the city. With its cobbled streets rich in history and dynamic cultural scene, Dublin will greet us with its timeless charm. B&B in Dublin.
2° giorno: we depart westward from Dublin toward Galway, visiting Tara, one of Ireland’s most important archaeological sites, where ancient Irish kings were crowned. We then continue to Clonmacnoise, an ancient monastic site along the Shannon River, rich in medieval ruins and Celtic crosses. Finally, we reach Galway, a lively and cheerful town where the ancient Celtic language is still spoken and traditional heritage is deeply cherished. Overnight in Galway.
Day 3: excursion to the Aran Islands.
Departing from Galway, we take a ferry to the magical Aran Islands, a true Irish treasure. Upon arrival, we embark on an unforgettable hike through breathtaking landscapes and centuries-old traditions.
Our route winds through scenic trails, surrounded by the wild beauty of the island. We will walk along towering cliffs overlooking the Atlantic, cross pastures dotted with ancient ruins, and breathe in the salty air of these remote lands.
The highlight of our adventure will be the majestic Dún Aonghasa, a prehistoric fortress perched on a sea cliff. Here, we will be rewarded with stunning views and a sense of wonder at the grandeur of this historical site. Overnight in Galway.
Day 4: visit and trekking at the Cliffs of Moher
Departing from Galway, we head south to explore one of Ireland's most iconic natural wonders: the Cliffs of Moher. These majestic cliffs rise from the Atlantic Ocean, creating a breathtaking panorama. Reaching heights of up to 214 meters, the Cliffs of Moher offer spectacular views of Ireland's west coast, stretching for miles across the vast ocean.
Once we arrive, we'll grab our backpacks and trek along the entire perimeter of the cliffs. It will be a unique experience, walking right on the edge, admiring the deep blue ocean crashing against the rocks and feeling the fresh wind on our skin.
After this unforgettable hike, we return to Galway, stopping to visit the charming Dunguaire Castle. Situated on the shores of Galway Bay, this 16th-century medieval castle enchants with its majestic architecture and historical atmosphere. We will have the chance to explore its halls, dive into its fascinating history, and enjoy spectacular views of the bay before returning to Galway to end the day with a good beer. Day 5: Connemara National Park Trekking.
We set off in the morning from Galway, venturing along the majestic Wild Atlantic Way, one of the most fascinating coastal roads in the world. Along the way, we'll be captured by breathtaking views of the Atlantic crashing against the cliffs and deserted beaches stretching to the horizon. Passing through picturesque coastal villages, we'll soak in the enchanting atmosphere of this legendary route.
After absorbing the beauty of the coast, we head inland to the striking Connemara National Park. Here, we embark on a fascinating trek up the majestic Diamond Hill. Well-maintained trails lead us through varied landscapes, from green meadows
to birch forests and rhododendron shrubs. During the ascent, we'll admire crystal-clear lakes and mountains silhouetted on the horizon.
At the summit, we'll be rewarded with spectacular views extending to Galway Bay and beyond, with the Atlantic fading into the distance.
The fresh mountain air and the serenity of the landscape will give us a sense of peace and wonder.
After fully enjoying the experience, we continue to Sligo for the night. Overnight in Sligo.
Day 6: morning departure for the final trek in the wild lands of Connemara. In the afternoon, we will visit Kylemore Abbey before heading back toward Dublin. B&B in Dublin.
Day 7: depending on flight departure times, it is still possible to visit either Dublin or Newgrange.
