Travel program

Day 1: Flight to Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland, renowned for its modern and colorful architecture, with many buildings painted in vibrant pastel shades. Its skyline is dominated by the majestic Hallgrímskirkja, a gothic-style church offering a spectacular panoramic view of the city.

City tour and overnight stay.

Day 2: Departure for the magical "Golden Circle," a famous tourist route that includes three of Iceland’s most spectacular natural destinations: Thingvellir National Park, the geothermal site of Geysir, and Gullfoss waterfall. Thingvellir is an important historical and geological site, home to Iceland’s first parliament and located on the tectonic fault between two continents. Geysir is famous for its Strokkur geyser, which erupts jets of hot water regularly. Gullfoss, also known as the "Golden Waterfall," offers an impressive view of two cascades plunging into a deep canyon. We will have the entire day to explore and fully enjoy this stunning region.

Dinner and overnight stay in Gulfoss.

Day 3: Wake-up and departure along F35, also known as the Kjölur Route, one of Iceland’s most wild and adventurous interior roads. It traverses the island’s desert-like terrain, offering breathtaking landscapes and a unique driving experience. The journey along F35 is an adventure in itself, with vast and constantly changing landscapes. We will arrive at Kerlingarfjöll, one of the most spectacular destinations on F35, where we will put on our hiking boots and follow a scenic trail offering spectacular views of wild valleys, glacial rivers, and unique rock formations. The region is also famous for its hot springs, providing a unique opportunity to relax while admiring the surrounding landscapes.

Day 4: We change regions and head south until we arrive at Seljalandsfoss, one of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls, located along the island’s southern coast. What makes Seljalandsfoss unique is the possibility of walking behind the waterfall itself, offering an incredibly immersive and evocative experience. Continuing further south, we embark on a mini-trek to Skogafoss waterfall and beyond along the Fimmvörðuháls trail.

The trek begins at the majestic Skogafoss waterfall, one of Iceland’s largest and most impressive, with a 60-meter drop. From here, the Fimmvörðuháls trail winds through breathtaking landscapes, passing through canyons, valleys, glacial rivers, and lava fields. The trail also crosses the legendary Troll Valley, a glacial valley surrounded by towering mountains.

Day 5: Morning visit to the black sand beach of Reynisfjara, one of Iceland’s most spectacular and iconic destinations, located in the picturesque village of Vík í Mýrdal on the island’s southern coast. This beach is famous for its volcanic black sand, which contrasts beautifully with towering basalt cliffs and the mighty Atlantic Ocean.

After exploring the stunning black beach of Vík, we head toward Diamond Beach, or Jökulsárlón, another incredible attraction along the southern coast. Diamond Beach is famous for its ice fragments, which break off from glaciers and are carried by the ocean onto the shore, creating a magical and sparkling scene that looks like diamonds scattered across the black sand.

Day 6: We begin our return journey, stopping for a hike to Svartifoss, meaning "black waterfall," one of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls, located in Skaftafell National Park in the country’s southeastern region. What makes Svartifoss unique is its surrounding black basalt columns, creating a stunning rocky backdrop around the waterfall. The trail offers spectacular views of mountains, glaciers, and glacial valleys as we approach the waterfall.

Return and overnight stay.

Day 7: We cover the final kilometers toward the airport, with a stop at the enchanting Blue Lagoon.

Return to Italy.
