Travel program

Day 1: Arrival in Dublin, the vibrant capital of Ireland, where history blends with the present in a fascinating mix of culture and entertainment. We will explore iconic landmarks such as Dublin Castle and St. Patrick's Cathedral before wandering through the welcoming streets of the historic center. Here, we will have the opportunity to taste local cuisine in traditional Irish pubs and enjoy the lively atmosphere that fills the city. With its cobbled streets rich in history and dynamic cultural scene, Dublin will greet us with its timeless charm. B&B in Dublin.

Day 2: We depart westward from Dublin toward Galway, visiting Tara, one of Ireland’s most important archaeological sites, where ancient Irish kings were crowned. We then continue to Clonmacnoise, an ancient monastic site along the Shannon River, rich in medieval ruins and Celtic crosses. Finally, we reach Galway, a lively and cheerful town where the ancient Celtic language is still spoken and traditional heritage is deeply cherished. Overnight in Galway.

Day 3: Excursion to the Aran Islands. Departing from Galway, we take a ferry to the magical Aran Islands, a true Irish treasure. Upon arrival, we embark on an unforgettable hike through breathtaking landscapes and centuries-old traditions. Our route winds through scenic trails, towering cliffs overlooking the Atlantic, and pastures dotted with ancient ruins. The highlight of our adventure will be Dún Aonghasa, a prehistoric fortress perched on a sea cliff, offering stunning views and a deep sense of wonder. Overnight in Galway.

Day 4: Visit and trek at the Cliffs of Moher. Departing from Galway, we head south by car to explore one of Ireland’s most iconic natural wonders: the Cliffs of Moher. These majestic cliffs rise from the Atlantic Ocean, creating a spectacular panorama. Reaching up to 214 meters in height, they offer breathtaking views of Ireland’s western coast. We will hike along the entire Cliffs of Moher trail, a unique experience where we can admire the deep blue ocean crashing against the rocks and feel the fresh sea breeze.

On our way back to Galway, we stop at the Dunguaire Castle, perched on a cliff along Galway Bay. This 16th-century medieval castle enchants visitors with its imposing architecture and fascinating history. We explore its grand halls and enjoy panoramic views before ending the day with a well-deserved Irish pint. Overnight in Galway.

Day 5: Trekking in Connemara National Park. Departing in the morning from Galway, we travel along the Wild Atlantic Way, one of the most breathtaking coastal routes in the world. Along the way, we marvel at dramatic ocean views, secluded beaches, and charming coastal villages.

We then reach Connemara National Park to embark on a scenic trek up Diamond Hill. Well-maintained trails lead us through diverse landscapes—lush meadows, birch forests, and rhododendron fields. As we ascend, crystal-clear lakes and towering mountains come into view.

At the summit, we enjoy spectacular panoramic views extending to Galway Bay and beyond, with the Atlantic stretching to the horizon. We soak in the mountain air and serenity before continuing on to Sligo for the night. Overnight in Sligo.

Day 6: Final trek in Connemara’s wild lands. In the afternoon, we visit Kylemore Abbey, a stunning castle steeped in history, before making our way back to Dublin. B&B in Dublin.

Day 7: Depending on flight schedules, there will be time for a final exploration of Dublin or a visit to Newgrange, a prehistoric passage tomb older than the pyramids of Egypt.
